The killer risks that most organizations overlook share three characteristics: everyone is aware of them, they are politically difficult to discuss, and they are often leading indicators of high-severity risk events. In this course, we identify these killer risks, discuss their root causes and attributes, and suggest how to address their mitigation using advanced techniques in enterprise risk management (ERM). Several case studies will be discussed.

  • Identify killer risks.
  • Understand the threat posed by killer risks.
  • Learn how to address mitigating killer risks using advanced techniques in enterprise risk management (ERM).

Target Audience: Anyone interested in enterprise risk management (ERM), risk management, company failures, or in simply avoiding killer risks impeding their organization or career.
