Description

For anyone interested in becoming a nurse, this course provides an overview of the profession. Participants will learn about areas of nursing specialization, the application process for nursing schools, and scholarship programs.

Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will gain:

  • The ability to assess their skills as they relate to succeeding in nursing school and becoming a nurse.
  • Resources to draw upon throughout their education and career.

Dr. Sandie G. Nadelson, RN

Lead Instructor

Dr. Sandie G. Nadelson, RN is the Nursing Programs Director and a faculty member at Utah State University. She has been a nurse with a passion for helping people develop their potential in health care and education. Sandie has a master’s and doctorate in education and has been working in education for several years. She has presented on a variety of education topics at many conferences in Europe, China, and the throughout the United States.
