Communication for Mobile and Virtual Work (CoMoViWo) combines two elements essential for the 21st century international professional: intercultural communication and communication at a distance. So often nowadays business communication is conducted via a screen and yet little training is given to how this changes the way we communicate in general and, specifically, how it changes the way we communicate with people from different cultures. CoMoViWo provides practice activities to help you improve your understanding of different cultures and the skills needed for successful intercultural communication specifically for online and mobile communication in the workplace.

- To become familiar with the different registers (formal and informal) used in virtual and mobile communication (both spoken and written) and use the models provided for real communication in the workplace.
- To raise awareness of different types and levels of culture and address the benefits and challenges of working in multicultural teams whilst developing strategies for carrying out successful communication applying digital skills.
