Description

In this course, we model the planning process for the integration of STEM disciplines in the classroom. Participants will learn what current research suggests to be the best integration practices and will be provided with tools necessary to plan iSTEM lessons. All materials utilized in this course were checked out from the local STEM hub.

Objectives

At the end of this course, you’ll be able to:

  • Know research-based integration practices for STEM education.
  • Be familiar with the process of planning an integrated STEM unit.
  • Find where to acquire pieces of technology needed for their iSTEM units.
  • Share their units with other participants.

Target Audience: K-12 teachers. The course will be actively advertised to teachers in rural areas of Middle Tennessee and during workshops at the local STEM hub.
