Dive deeper into the science of relationships with social psychology expert and Colorado State University faculty member, Dr. Jennifer Jill Harman, Ph.D., during this free online psychology course. The noncredit, social-based program is designed for individuals interested in the field of psychology and those who want to gain a deeper understanding of the science behind how relationships work.

Course Instructors

Dr. Jennifer Jill Harman, Ph.D.


Dr. Jennifer Jill Harman has two master’s degrees in psychology (counseling and social psychology) and received her Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the University of Connecticut in 2005. Read More.

She has been teaching undergraduate and graduate level social psychology, introduction to psychology, and advanced topics in social psychology for close to 12 years. In 2012 she was awarded the College of Natural Sciences Faculty Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award. She is currently an associate professor in the psychology department at Colorado State University, and conducts research using social psychological principles to examine social and health problems, particularly related to close relationships. She has an active research laboratory with many undergraduate and graduate research assistants, and she welcomes students to join her lab to learn more about research in social psychology.
