Learn how to set up the Badgr LTI app in Canvas, how to create and award badges in courses and manage the gamified course leaderboard. See how the analytics allows you to track badge usage in courses, badge awards, and badge sharing. Students are motivated by badges and love showing them off outside the classroom. This course is for anyone who creates or manages Canvas coursework.

Badgr is a FREE and easy option for awarding and tracking badges in Canvas courses. Recognize achievement and add an element of gamification to Canvas with Badgr Open Badges.

Objectives

Participants will learn how to recognize achievements using Open Badges in Canvas courses. We'll show you how to install the Badgr LTI app, create badges and assign them to modules for automatic badge awards. Your students will love earning badges!
